The Saint Aidan Chapter of the NJHS has been established to create enthusiasm for and the recognition of scholarship, to promote leadership and service, and to encourage citizenship.
Members will be nominated and selected by a Faculty Council. An installation ceremony will be held after the completion of the first trimester of school.
Members of the NJHS who do not maintain their grades will be put on probation for one trimester. If the student is unable to improve his/her grades he/she will no longer be considered a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
Students in Grades 7 and 8 are eligible for membership in the National Junior Honor Society two times during their middle school career.
Each opportunity includes a one trimester look back period.
1: Grade 7: Based on T1 of 7th Grade and Final Average of 6th Grade
2: Grade 8: Based on T1 of 8th Grade and Final Average of 7th Grade
